In this position you will assist in the day to day operations of the kitchen. This includes, but is not limited to, dishwashing, assisting putting away deliveries, and assisting with meal preparation.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Some knowledge of proper methods utilized in Dining Service, kitchen appliances and care of utensils, cleaning methods and the use of cleaning supplies. You must possess the ability to read and write simple correspondence, follow oral and written instructions. You should be willing and able to work independently while performing major repairs and overhauls. Ability to communicate information to customers, clients, and other employees. Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations. Ability to deal with problems involving few concrete variables in standardized situations.
